Wind resources need to be measured. From our first visit to Summit in the spring of 2006, James has offered to assist in the operation of meteorological towers and instruments, plus a sodar wind measuring system. James is engaged to Kim, has two sons he is exceedingly proud of, and lives in the Summit area. James’ dad, Richard Pike and Jim Newcomb were high school classmates in Brandon, SD, during the 1950’s.
