In the fall of 2007 and again in 2008, SummitWind provided a tour of the MinnDakota wind plant east of Brookings. MinnDakota is an excellent representation for us, as it has the same type of construction and operator as SummitWind. The tour provided an up-close look for people involved with SummitWind. The production results we heard from the plant manager, Dave Sweet, were outstanding and encouraging. The vision of more jobs and income in the community is becoming a reality.
